Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (Stylized as Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater) is an upcoming remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater by Konami and Virtuos made for ninth generation game consoles and PC. Like the original, it is a stealth-action / third-person shooter and will follow Naked Snake during a Cold War mission in 1964 that would eventually gain him the title of Big Boss as he attempts to extract a defecting Soviet scientist by the name of Dr. Nikolai Sokolov who is being forced to build a super weapon known as the "Shagohod".
