Psycho II is a 1983 mystery thriller that is a sequel to Alfred Hitchcock's classic 1960 film Psycho. Anthony Perkins returns as Norman Bates, who after being in a mental institute for 22 years, is released and goes back to running the infamous Bates Motel. The film was directed by Richard Franklin (F/X 2) and the cast included Meg Tilly and Robert Loggia. Perkins would return as Bates in two more films Psycho III and Psycho IV: The Beginning.
