Emden Men (Die Männer der Emden) or also titled as Odyssey of Heroes is a 2012 German movie about the adventures of the 50 survivors from the cruiser SMS "Emden", directed by Berengar Pfahl. It's a homage to the 1932 German movie Cruiser Emden.
After their ship was sunk off the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, the squad of Hellmuth von Mücke (Sebastian Blomberg) makes their odyssey back to Germany.
The following weapons were used in the film Emden Men:
Handguns
Luger P08
Karl Overbeck (Ken Duken), Hellmuth von Mücke (Sebastian Blomberg) and Friedrich von Schulau (Jan Henrik Stahlberg) use Luger P08s.
Luger Marine Model
Maat (Petty Officer) Kluthe (Oliver Korittke) is seen using an Marine Luger P08.
Unknown Pocket Pistol
Antonia (Sheri Hagen) tries to reach an unknown pocket pistol. Karl Overbeck (Ken Duken) stops her and takes the pistol.
Rifles
Mauser Gewehr 1888
Matrose (Sailor) Hilgert (Michael Lott) and other sailors use Mauser Gewehr 1888 rifles.
Mauser Gewehr 1898
Various characters are using Mauser Gewehr 1898 rifles.
Lee-Enfield No. I Mk III*
British sailors can briefly seen with Lee-Enfield No. I Mk III* rifle.
Enfield M1917
French troops at the railway station have M1917 Enfield over their shoulders. It's an anachronism, because the story takes place in 1914/1915.
Unknown Rifles
Japanese soldiers are seen with unknown rifles in Qingdao.
The guards of the Emir of Mecca carry some rifles which are difficult to detect.
Machine Guns
Maxim MG08
The Maschinengewehr 08 is also seen in some scenes.
Grenades
Jam Tin Grenade
German sailors destroy the radar station on Cocos Islands with Jam Tin Grenades.
