Texas Chainsaw 3D is a 2013 3D horror film directed by John Leussenhop that is a direct sequel to the original 1974 cult horror classic that was directed by Tobe Hooper and ignores the continuity of the past two sequels as well as its remake films. The 2013 feature stars Alexandra Daddario as Heather Miller, a young woman who travels with a few of her friends to Newt, Texas, to receive the inheritance from her deceased grandmother Verna Carson. Heather soon ends up discovering that her inheritance includes the residence that once housed the infamous killer "Leatherface" (Dan Yeager). The film's cast includes Scott Eastwood, Tania Raymonde, Thom Barry, Shaun Sipos, Keram Malicki-Sánchez, Trey Songz, and Paul Rae.
