Ransomed (Korean title: 비공식작전, Bigongsigjagjeon, lit. "Unofficial Operation") is a 2023 Korean action-drama film. Taking place in Lebanon in 1987 during the peak of the Lebanese Civil War, the film stars Ha Jung-woo as Korean diplomat Lee Min-jun, who after receiving a call from a Korean diplomat who was kidnapped in Lebanon one year prior, volunteers to go on a mission to negotiate with his kidnappers to bring him back to South Korea. As he arrives in Lebanon, he meets Korean taxi driver Kim Pan-su (Ju Ji-hoon), who offers to drive him to the diplomat's location. The film is based on true events of which the South Korean government will fully declassify in 2047
