Chiappa Firearms is an Italian manufacturer of rifles, handguns, shotguns, airguns, blank-fire only guns, and flare pistols. Founded in 1958, the company is headquartered in Brescia, Italy. Chiappa produces modern firearms, such as clones of the Beretta 92FS and Colt M1911, as well as replicas of lever-action rifles such as the Winchester Model 1892 for the Cowboy Action Shooting market. In addition, the company also manufacturers replicas of historical black powder rifles like the Springfield 1861 popular with reenactors and black powder enthusiasts. Blank-fire only guns are manufactured by its division Kimar.
