Cannone da 47/32 M35
Cannone da 47/32
The Cannone da 47/32 M35 is an Italian 47mm anti-tank gun ('32' referring to the L/32 barrel) of the World War II era. It was originally designed by Austrian firm Böhler, and produced in Italy under license. The tank version of the Cannone da 47/32 was mounted on M13/40 and M14/41 tanks, Semovente da 47/32 self-propelled gun, and a version with the L/40 barrel was used on the M15/42 tank.
Besides Italy, Böhler 47mm AT guns of same and similar models were used by Austria, China, Finland, Netherlands, Romania, Estonia, Latvia (ex-Latvian guns were also used by the Red Army), Switzerland, and Germany (former Austrian, Dutch, Soviet and Italian pieces), but all these countries had such guns in much smaller numbers than Italy.
