Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Hardened Edition

Does anyone think I should get it? The reason I would be getting it is for the downloadable Call of Duty 1 game, but what I want to know, is it really that good? Run its a T-55 21:28, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

ATF

Anyone understand the whole automatic weapons deal? From what I understand, if you pay the fee of $200, you can own an otherwise banned weapon. So, would that mean I could buy an automatic RPD? Or am I just plain stupid? -Run its a T-55 21:20, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Isn't BAFTA that British award for movies and television?-Oliveira 21:23, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Shows you how much I know...this is just not my day. It's the ATF, or the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Run its a T-55 21:26, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

I don't know anything about that.-Oliveira 21:38, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
If you can't you can just go get a semi auto one. I wouldn't though, all the weight is in the front end (I held one a while back and it almost fell out of my hands)-S&Wshooter 23:19, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

AK and the M16

No M16 love? :(-Oliveira 19:31, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Unfortunately, not really. It's an okay gun, but you ever give me a choice between the AK-47 or the M16, I'll have to pick the Russian gun. Run its a T-55 19:29, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Well, atleast you seem to know that american troops using AKs during the Cold War would be impossible-Oliveira 19:31, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Also, don't delete discussions.-Oliveira 20:59, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
I got rid of the pictures, as you requested. Also, I own an AK myself (pre-'89 Chinese gun made by Golden State Arms), and I would personally rather have an AR. Not that I don't like AKs, but the difference in ergonomics and accuracy makes it a no-brainer for anyone with a choice. -MT2008 21:02, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Well, it all comes down to personal opinions...I like guns that don't require too much maintainance, and also the AK is a 'Russian' gun. Not that I'm a foreign spy...but hey in the long run, I wouldn't complain if an M16 was handed to me. Just that there are quite a few guns I would use before selecting it. Run its a T-55 21:06, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Unless you are an illiterate peasant who lives in some remote area where cleaning supplies are almost impossible to come by, maintenance should not be one of your primary considerations in choosing a long gun. -MT2008 21:12, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Maybe I am one...? Well, I like to be sure that when in the heat of combat, I can rely on my gun being full of foreign debris and still work. However, I do like the M14 a lot (trying to get off of this long-disputed debate...) Run its a T-55 21:16, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Why not have the best of both and get an FAL? Also, if you were to shoot a Mosin Nagant you would have NO love for it-S&Wshooter

Well, I am an odd person, so maybe I'll like the Mosin-Nagant. I'm planning on buying one this fall. (Found an M44 for $114!) -Run its a T-55 22:08, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Thats $14 too much. The sights suck, it's hard to dissasemble, it is literally louder than a elephant rifle and it could very easily take your shoulder out of the socket when you fire it-S&Wshooter 22:11, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Eh, well, if I don't like it, I'll put it in a glass case and keep it as a collector's item, or use it for reenactments. -Run its a T-55 22:13, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

But with a FAL you can't fire on full auto without missing the target.-Oliveira 22:12, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Full auto isn't needed when the target is destroyed on the first hit-S&Wshooter 22:15, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Or you could just forget your M16, AK, or FAL and grab an M1 Abrams. Noone screws with an American tank. -Run its a T-55 22:17, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

I'll stick to guns that I can easily obtain legally at a gun shop. Tanks use too much fuel and shells for the main gun are impossible to buy as a private citizen-S&Wshooter 22:19, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Hell Yeah the French

The French are cool. They wasted alot of Krauts back then i guess. Did the same thing to the hun in WW1.-Oliveira 22:23, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Yeah but they needed help from the rest of the allied nations to attempt to drive away Germany and STILL lost. I mean, Germany repelled the friggin' ROMAN EMPIRE by themselves, armed with bits of wood and crappy swords-S&Wshooter 22:27, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah but come on, the Germans could basically take any nation on singlehandely and win. Let's not forget who's firearms equip most of the world's law enforcement agencies and special forces groups. But at the start of World War II, France had the best tank on the planet (the Char B1), one of the world's most powerful battelships (Richelieu-class), and one of the most formidable fighters (Dewoitine D.520). The French 7.5 x 54mm round had performance comparable to the German 7.92 x 57mm round, a significant step up from the 8mm Lebel, and French troops considered their FM-24/29 "Chatellerault" LMG to be superior to the B.A.R. No doubt had Hitler postponed the invasion he would have had a significantly difficult time attacking almighty France. -Run its a T-55 22:33, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
French guns and their Foreign Legion are pretty badass. Their MAS semi auto gun is a little too heavy though, but the MAS 36 is pretty sweet-S&Wshooter 22:36, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
I don't like the fact that they were armed with a Semi-Automatic rifle mostly made of wood through half of the Cold War.-Oliveira 22:48, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
I'm not too sure about the FAMAS though. Until I have either fired or handled a gun I will hold a neutral opinion of it, and I haven't ever even SEEN a FAMAS in person-S&Wshooter 22:49, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

MAS-36?

I don't remember deleting an MAS-36 Excalibur01 17:35, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
