Your screenshots are HUGE. They're PNG files and some are as big as 1.4 Megabytes per image. This makes the page load slowly for many users. IS there any way you can change them to JPGS before uploading? The preferred format for screenshots is JPG. MPM2008

Whoops.....sorry about that. I'll change them to .jpg's as soon as possible and re-upload.

Alright, I uploaded JPG's of every picture and put them on the page, should be fixed now.

Thanks, I missed that. Now that you mentioned it, I remember seeing that when I watched the movie the first time, but it slipped my mind the second. Soldier pics

Do you have image editing software? Just curious, because I was going to re-do the screen shots (the OA93 are mine) and I don't mind giving up doing the update on the page, but you need to adjust the contrast on your pics. They are lower contrast than normal. Also try to save the images to the highest resolution. They are large, but low resolution settings. Thanks and good work. Actually no, I just use paint. Please feel free to re-do any screenshots, I know mine aren't the best. I don't know much about image editing. And no worries, yo uwere not rude, I understand ^^

I think my machine captures contrast a little better, but the contrast adjustment can be done after capture with the right image software. :) I have CS3 on one machine and CS4, but I assume most folks don't want to spend $1800 on the latest version of Photoshop. ;)

Ah, I see what you mean. Sorry, I just don't have the software for that kind of stuff, and I rarely upload any screens anyway. But like I said, feel free to upload better quality screens and replace mine.

Eternal Darkness

Hope you don't mind, but I went in and semi-completed the Eternal Darkness page. I fixed the dead links, added sections for the rest of the weapons in the game, added individual stock weapon images, and reformatted the sections to site standards. Cool thanks for your help, yeah I'm still playing the game as we speak, just got the Winchester 1300 as Alex and I have yet to play through Edward and Michael's chapters (Which leaves the Enfield revolver, short shotgun, elephant gun, Glock, and Assault Rifle). Not a problem. I just finished the game a few weeks ago myself (borrowed from a friend who's been telling me to try it for years). I liked the weapons selection up until the OICW popped up, at which point I had a bit of a BSOD moment trying to figure out what the hell it was doing in Iraq in 1991. The game went straight from "Show Their Work" to "Critical Research Failure" instantaneously. Of course, being able to blast zombies while shouting "MAH XM29 IS FUCKIN' MAGIC, ZOMBITCHES!" was worth it.--PistolJunkie 01:18, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

I would have to agree with the placement of that weapon, strange. A small price to pay for such an excellent game though. Back when it came out I played it quite a lot, beat it maybe 4 times or so (If you beat it on all 3 alignments you get a secret ending, I don't remember what it was like though). My favorite chapter is probably Edwards, I love running around with the elephant gun and shotgun, good times. Diego Wolfwood

Old School Screenshots

It appears that your screenshots look squashed. Make sure that the aspect ratio of your video player is set to 16:9 before you capture your shots. --Ben41 08:36, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

I just watched it and didn't notice......weird. I'll check it out again and make sure the aspect ratio is correct and get new screens soon. --Diego Wolfwood

I just fixed them and re-uploaded. The aspect ratio was set correctly but the "keep aspect ratio" option was checked which messed it up. Thanks for letting me know! --Diego Wolfwood

Army of Darkness screenshots

First, thanks for your contributions. As stated in the Rules, Standards and Principles, please try to limit the amount of screenshots for one weapon (although it's nice to have the quotes, 15 screenshots is over the limit). Sorry, I thought about that while screencapping and tried to limit them. I could probably combine some of the speech into one screencap in a couple places to limit the screencaps, what is the exact limit on screencaps for one weapon? Also, should there be possible exceptions to movies that feature very few guns at all (Like this one)? --Diego Wolfwood

Ten screenshots is what is stated in the rules, but there are exceptions (such as if there are several characters using the weapon or if they're specific elements of the weapons that need to be noted). More screenshots for a page that doesn't have a lot of firearms is acceptable, but 15 is too much (especially if they're from one sequence). --Ben41 08:01, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
