Gun Brand Pages

Make sure that you use the proper format here. The date column should not be "introduced" but "Produced" with the two dates. The date it was introduced and the date it was discontinued (or "present"). Also, remember that this site is not a gun encyclopedia. We are only adding guns to these pages that already have a page. The SIG-Sauer P238 and the SIG MG 710-3 should be removed. You should also check the existing links because many of them are not taking you to the correct location. Once you are done creating the SIG-Sauer page, it would be great if you could do some clean up of the SIG weapon pages. LOVE your SIG page! You took my mediocre, half baked idea and made it simply AWESOME! :-) I'm thinking of doing this for the 5-10 or so guns that have a large number of variants. The only other one that I can think of off the top of my head is the Beretta 92FS. I'd love to work on this with you if you feel like working together on this project. Hey man. I have a request. Can you refrain from adding the template to anymore pages for a few days? I realized that I am still working on it and if and when I make changes to the basic structure of the template, each instance of it may need to be changed. For example, I just realized that the "Character" and "Actor" parameters should be lowercase to match the other parameters. This means that we now need to change each instance of the template. I REALLY appreciate you help implementing this and really hope you will continue to help, but maybe hold off for a week or so? Screenshots

I noticed that you mentioned that you save your screenshots as JPG's in VLC player. I've tried doing this and found that the shots turn out to be of inferior quality (there's a lot of blockiness to the shots). What I usually do is save them as PNG's first and then use Fast Stone Image Viewer to do a batch conversion to JPEG. This will also allow you to batch rename your files as well. You can delete the PNG's after you finish the conversion. --Ben41 19:27, 4 May 2012 (CDT)

In the future, when you are linking to a gun such as the Para-Ordnance P-10, please do not use the [[M1911_pistol_series#Para-Ordnance_P-10|Para-Ordnance P10]] format. Instead, create the [[Para-Ordnance P10]] page and then redirect that page to [[M1911_pistol_series#Para-Ordnance_P-10]]. The issue is that we are currently splitting up the 1911 page and instead of just changing the redirects, we have to change every page that links because so many people use the bad format. I only mention it to you because I am currently working on the Para-Ordnance 1911s and saw that you used this format when creating the Para-Ordnance page. CSI Miami

Hey bro. Whats the status of Season 1-4 of CSI: Miami? I know you had discussed doing them and did a bunch of work. Just wanted to see what the status is and how I can be helpful. I took care of 5-10 and did all the actor pages but my thought for doing the gun pages (the cross referencing) was to do it all at once. So basically just open up 10 tabs, one for each season, and do each gun one at a time. I.E. Go to the Beretta 92FS page and add all the occurrences for all 10 seasons at once, instead of one season at a time. I don't want to do that until all 10 seasons are done though. Any way, let me know whats what and if you would like some help finishing up any of the seasons, just gimme a holler! --Zackmann08 13:57, 18 June 2012 (CDT)
