Torchwood is a television spinoff of the popular Doctor Who series produced by the BBC which follows the adventures of Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) and his team. Based in Cardiff, they are a part of Torchwood, a secret agency set up by Queen Victoria in the Doctor Who Episode "Tooth and Claw". Their primary mission is to monitor a spatial rift in and around Cardiff, fighting supernatural monsters and aliens in order to protect mankind.
