Toba Dreams is a 2015 Indonesian drama film adapted from a novel of the same name by TB Silalahi. Mr. Tebe (Mathias Muchus), a recently retired Army officer garrisoned in Jakarta, decided to move his family out of the city and live a simple life in his hometown on the shore of Lake Toba in North Sumatra. Dissatisfied with his father's plan, the oldest son, Ronggur (Vino G. Bastian), decides to head back for Jakarta to meet his lover and live his life as he wishes.

Pindad P1, a Browning Hi-Power variant produced in Indonesia, was the sidearm of Ronggur's father, retired Sergeant Major Tebe (Mathias Muchus).

A trio of gangsters, Bonsu (Jerio Jeffry), Hariman (JE. Sebastian), and Egy (Julian Kunto) carry unidentified pistols.

Pindad SB1-V2

Some of the Indonesian police officers carry Pindad SB1-V2 rifles. It is a variant of the Pindad SS1, a licensed version of the FN FNC, specifically designed to use a unique cartridge for the Indonesian police.

Pindad SS2-V5

The Pindad SS2-V5 is seen carried by the Indonesian soldiers at the beginning of the movie. As they're part of a cavalry battalion (credited as the 9th Cavalry Battalion, an armored unit in the Indonesian Army), they're equipped with the compact assault rifle.
