I think the second picture of he short AKs is actually a Bulgarian Arsenal AR-SF fitted with a wooden handguard (a common mod seen in TV and films):

You can see the distinctive muzzle brake which is unique to this gun, as well as the waffle pattern polymer magazine which is indicative of an Arsenal AK. --commando552 (talk) 13:19, 27 June 2014 (EDT)
