Is it just me, or do most of the weapons used by Hatcher's men seem really dated. For a man who runs a gold mine one would think he could afford more up-to-date weaponry. -Anonymous

I think the weaponry suits the area depicted in the movie. It seems, and would make sense, that most of the arms are war surplus. Easy to get and cheap. You don't make a lot of money spending most of your profits on M4's with fancy optics.--Spikemonkey 05:42, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

Given the vintage of these weapons, how do we know it's an MG3 and not an MG42? I would think that if the armorer had this many WWII weapons, they'd be more likely to have an MG42 instead of an MG3. --Funkychinaman 19:14, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

Where exactly is this film widely/best known as The Rundown!?!? Seriously, this is the first time I've seen it under that name. I just screencaped half the movie for a Welcome to the Jungle page when it didn't come up in the search! I only found out when I popped over to IMDB, where I might add, it says that the latter is the alternate title for USA, UK and AUS! Is there a redirect feature we can put in place for Welcome to the Jungle? It could probably do with one, unless I'm the only one who didn't know about this other title . . .

In California its called The Rundown. Also it's SOLD as the Rundown on Amazon. So where did you see this Welcome to the Jungle title? I know thats the international title. MoviePropMaster2008 21:40, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

Well I'm UK, so I guess it's the European title. It even says on this page "also released under Welcome to the Jungle", so it's a little annoying how a search just gave me a "it doesn't exist yet". I've never understood alternate US titles anyhow, it's like Leon and Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, I mean, why?
