Should some of the fictional weapons be included in the main page?

We've included plausible but fictional small arms on the main pages for wiki entries before. I would say that the Carbine resembles a Steyr AUG, while the Automatic Rifle is clearly a slightly-modified version of the M41A Pulse Rifle from Aliens, just with a larger magazine and no grenade launcher (as it was in the original C&C Renegade FPS). Including the Flamethrower and Chemical Sprayer would also be a good idea since they are clearly possible in real life, just with implausibly-small ammunition tanks. --Mazryonh (talk) 22:12, 6 April 2015 (EDT)

Sure, I'll see if I can get a some pictures of some plausible weapons and put them up. --CnC Fin (talk) 06:46, 7 April 2015 (EDT)
I moved the Automatic Rifle and Carbine to the main page, and added some more. I didn't add the Chem Sprayer there yet, as I don't remember seeing any other page here having any chemical weapons. Also I'm searching for an eight-barrelled minigun, does such exist? --CnC Fin (talk) 08:41, 22 April 2015 (EDT)
Maybe put all the fictional weapons under their own entry? --Funkychinaman (talk) 09:01, 22 April 2015 (EDT)
Done, it's less of a mess now :D --CnC Fin (talk) 10:31, 22 April 2015 (EDT)

We have "chem sprayers" in real life. Just go look for your nearest spray can of insecticide. But in any case, the chem sprayer in this game is much like a real-life flamethrower, in that it would most likely follow the principle of "pressurized fluid in a container being propelled through a tube towards a target," with the exception that the sprayer has no need for a pilot light. And the M7 CS gas grenade is both very much a chemical weapon (though I would prefer a somewhat different but more accurate term) and has an entry on this wiki. There just isn't a category for chemical weapons on this wiki yet, though I think if more entries for WWI-focussed media are created on this wiki we may well get one. --Mazryonh (talk) 23:08, 23 April 2015 (EDT)

By the strictest definition of the term smoke grenades, flares and such are also chemical weapons, but CS weapons we do have a cat: less lethal for already. I doubt we'd ever need one for chemical weapons since there don't tend to be dedicated guns that only fire chemical rounds, they tend to be alternate rounds for artillery weapons that can fire conventional shells too. I would still move for the Chem Sprayer to included here, since it appears to use a realistic method of operation. Oh well, NOD (the faction that uses the Chem Sprayer) doesn't abide by the Geneva convention's prohibitions against WMD use, Tiberium poisoning can't be cured, and NOD also appears to control the only supply of Tiberium-proof armour, so that provides plenty of incentive for them to use Tiberium-based weaponry with abandon. We should probably take the issue of chemical weapons to the forums. --Mazryonh (talk) 14:31, 1 May 2015 (EDT)
