AR-7 assembly

The current description faults the sequence of Pantera's assembly for the AR-7 as shown in the movie. When you remove the butt cap, only the barrel is retained by friction. The magazine is loose and can fall free. The receiver is usually loose (unless you had pulled the bolt handle out so it dragged when you reinserted it in the stock). Securing the magazine in the receiver (as Pantera did and which was criticized) is actually a wise first step. Otherwise you could lose the magazine. Then you secure the action and magazine to the stock. Then you secure the barrel to the action (and the barrel chamber is still empty). Trigger discipline is a good reflex in all firearms handling at all times (trigger discipline = finger off the trigger until sights are on intended target), but there is no round yet in the chamber. So I feel the criticism of Pantera's handling of the AR-7 is totally unwarranted. Besides she is too cool (or hot) to justify criticism. -- Carl N. Brown (talk) 22:49, 16 January 2019 (EST)
