Majestyk's shotgun isn't a Mossberg 500, it's a Winchester 1200/1300. You can tell by the size of the forend and how close it is to the magazine cap.

The Page Needs a Major Overhaul

Ive just watched the movie and some of the facts on the page are wrong, like the previous comment no Mossberg 500 appears in the film. The "Winchester" is an auto shotgun not a pump action, although characters are see trying to pump it. Also the "Winchester" used are two different models, the one that Majestic (Bronson) "borrows" from Kopas (Koslo) in the opening has a ribbed barrel. The one Majestyk uses at the end lacks the ribbing above the barrel.

Can anyone definately identify the make and model of the two shotguns that Majestyk uses and i'll clean up the page.--The Mercenary (talk) 10:48, 20 May 2013 (EDT)

Why would you say it's an automatic shotgun? It certainly looks like a pump to me. As for the different barrels, I'm pretty sure you can swap out barrels on a Winchester 1200. --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:54, 20 May 2013 (EDT)

Thanks Funkychinaman....The length of the wooden foregrip which differs from every picture ive seen on here of a Winchester 1200/1300 Ranger, it doesn't move when the character "pumps" it and they don't bother to "pump" it after every shot. Was it the custom for movies to swap and change barrels to pretend they had two different guns during the early 1970's? Anyway it needs to be pointed out on the page that this could be the same gun but using two different style barrel's --The Mercenary (talk) 11:11, 20 May 2013 (EDT)

It could just be a continuity error, or they just could've had two Winchester 1200's with two different barrels. As for stocks, the Mossbergs and Remingtons, there are different designs for stocks. Most automatic shotguns have cocking levers, and I don't see one here. --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:22, 20 May 2013 (EDT)
