Sniper Scopes
The Lebel could also mount 3 different scopes, the APX Mle 1916, APX Mle 1917 and APX Mle 1921. The first two were fielded in World War I for snipers, while the APX Mle 1921 was used in WW2 (snipers at that time still used the Lebel rifle). (Information and specs by David Lehmann)

- reticule : crosshair (+) (the vertical line is fixed and the horizontal line is depending from the range dial)
- marking : "A.PX16" followed by the number of the rifle to which the scope is assigned
APX Mle 1917

- range dial : up to 800m
- reticule : crosshair (+) (the vertical line is fixed and the horizontal line is depending from the range dial)
- marking : "A.PX17" followed by the number of the rifle to which the scope is assigned
- the mounting system is slightly different than for the previous APX16 scope.

Discussion
R.S.C. Model 1917
If it is alright, I will add the R.S.C. M1917, a semi-automatic variant of the Lebel that saw some usage in World War I Run its a T-55 00:36, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
- You know, as cool as I think the RSCM M1917 is, I don't really think it should be on this page. It's not a Lebel variant, it's a completely separate firearm. Only the butt is the same.
Layout
The scope information and pictures associated with it aren't formatted like the other pages and seem a bit off. Plus I think all the detailed scope information isn't really necessary to have, either (We don't give out such extensive details on other scopes as far as I'm aware). Could all that stuff be moved to the talk page and the main page cleaned up and brought more to the style of the other gun pages? StanTheMan (talk) 17:16, 6 November 2013 (EST)
