Not a S&W Model 29
That model has ribbing on the barrel, has a Taurus style cylinder release latch, and the grips are nothing like a Smith. MoviePropMaster2008 13:26, 26 May 2011 (CDT)
Not Taurus PT92s or PT945s / M16 with unusual front sight
The guns that we have identified on the page as Taurus PT92s and Taurus PT945s are all actually Vektor SP1s
On another note, did anyone notice anything unusual about C.W.'s M16?
It has an AKM-style front sight post, which means that it's the same gun that was seen in Bravo Two Zero. The common denominator here is that both movies were filmed in South Africa and used the same armorer to source weapons (which also explains the appearance of the Vektor SP1s). -MT2008 (talk) 20:22, 7 March 2020 (EST)
