Italian sappers lay strange mines. These mines look like a fake.

Oh wow, this looks kinda awful. But it still looks better than another Italian movie called The Battle of El Alamein. That one puts Italian troops dug in on low ground at the bottom of a hill, T-34/85s on both sides, unsupported tanks charging said dug-in infantry, and M113 APCs. 91/38 Rifles
The 91/38 rifles used in the movie are not Special Troops (which would be shorter), but 91/38 standard version. (Charly Driver)
