I think that most revolvers used in this movie are made by Taurus and Rossi in Brazil. I've been able to identify a Rossi M-851, but early Taurus and Rossi revolvers were quite similar to S&W J and K frames, so it's difficult to be totally sure about the rest of the guns

Considering the pin placement and the design of the support post between the barrel and tube, my guess is that that shotgun is a Mossberg 500. -Deafmatch 11:06, 27 March 2011 (CDT)

Well it's been a good week, no one replied, so I'm altering the page. -Deafmatch 08:24, 5 April 2011 (CDT)

Is there a source for the moving ending in 1981? All i cound find was it ended in the 1980s (I assumed 1985 because it was when Lil' Zé's real life counterpart died). -FriendlyHornet 16:12, 13 january 2024 (BRT)

I think the movie actually ends in the middle of 1979; the newspaper issue that has Rocket's photo is date from July 7 1979. This is what causes the police to go after Lil' Zé and sets the final scene in motion. Knockout Ned's real counterpart was actually killed in 1979; but in September 30.-FriendlyHornet 16:29, 13 january 2024 (BRT)
