Second compact pistol

I don't think the second compact M1911-type is an M1911-type. There isn't the frame-mounted safety. --Funkychinaman (talk) 07:55, 8 July 2016 (EDT)

Thanks, fixed. I'll try to look more. Greg-Z (talk) 08:10, 8 July 2016 (EDT)
I'd say its a S&W but no slide decocker/safety, though it could be a DAO model. Bah, I'll take another crack at that later. The other shotguns look to be more Mossberg 500s. StanTheMan (talk) 16:22, 29 July 2016 (EDT)
Something like S&W 3914 DAO? This one seems to match the shape and size of screen gun. Greg-Z (talk) 16:59, 29 July 2016 (EDT)
Right size, but the frame looks like it slants upward which makes me think more a Ladysmith variant, though I can't remember if those were available in DAO or not. Trigger guard shape looks a bit off as well, hard to tell though. StanTheMan (talk) 02:25, 30 July 2016 (EDT)

Please help ID these pistols. --Ben41 (talk) 18:13, 8 July 2016 (EDT)

Unidentified M1911-style pistol 1

In the opening scene Lt. Cornelius Morgan (Dean Cain) uses an M1911-style pistol with adjustable sights.

Morgan aims his pistol.
I cannot say if the pistol has an additional serration on the forend of the slide, or it's a shadow. This is the best view of the gun but maybe some more images would be helpful. Greg-Z (talk) 04:21, 9 July 2016 (EDT)
I believe these are additional serrations, they seem to be present in other caps. As for the gun itself, not really sure right now. StanTheMan (talk) 16:23, 29 July 2016 (EDT)

Unidentified M1911-style pistol 2

One of the handguns, carried by Scalzetti's henchman Simulus (Santino Buda), appears to be an M1911-style pistol with adjustable sights. Morgan later uses this pistol.

Simulus draws both his pistols, M1911-style and Beretta 92FS.
The pistol is in Morgan's hands.
Another view of the same scene.
I believe this is the same gun mentioned in the section below, in which case, again, possibly a Officer's ACP. StanTheMan (talk) 16:17, 29 July 2016 (EDT)

Unidentified M1911-style compact pistol 1

During the events in the shopping mall Morgan uses a compact M1911-style pistol with double-stack magazine. It looks similar to Springfield Ultra Compact High-Capacity pistol but the ammo in magazine resembles 9x19 rather than .45.

Morgan draws his pistol. Note the Novak LoMount rear sight and ring hammer spur.
This might be a 9mm converted Colt Officer's ACP. StanTheMan (talk) 16:17, 29 July 2016 (EDT)
Thanks! It's a very possible guess, but I'm still puzzled with double stack magazine. Even 9mm conversion of Colt Officer's ACP have a single stack magazine. This feature also excludes Colt Defender. Greg-Z (talk) 16:38, 29 July 2016 (EDT)
Well if the mag is shown independently it may not match with the gun at all - We sure the gun itself is a double-stack? If so you might have been right about it bring the Springfield. 9mm models/conversions were/are available on Springfields. StanTheMan (talk) 02:25, 30 July 2016 (EDT)
Morgan takes the magazine and loads it in the pistol on screen so I'm quite sure that the magazine and the pistol match. Greg-Z (talk) 13:29, 31 July 2016 (EDT)
