Snowdrop (Korean title: 설강화, Seolganghwa) is a 2021-2022 South Korean period romantic drama series. Set during the politically tense South Korean winter of 1987, the series follows Eun Yeong-ro (played by Kim Jisoo of Blackpink fame in her first leading role), a college freshman who falls in love with fellow student Lim Soo-ho (Jung Hae-in), unaware that he is actually a North Korean spy. As Soo-ho is pursued by a team of South Korean intelligence agents, his mission escalates into a hostage crisis in Yeong-ro's dormitory room that tests the two's relationship.
