Nancy Callahan (Jessica Alba) carries a nickel-plated Smith & Wesson Model 14, claimed to be Hartigan's revolver from the previous film. The overall size, Partridge target front sight and an ejector rod socket instead of a shroud suggest it is actually .38 calibre K-frame Model 14, whereas Hartigan carried a Model 29. This was most likely chosen because it was more comfortable for the actress.
