Phil Spector is the 2013 HBO dramatization of the events surrounding the murder case involving record producer Phil Spector, who was on trial for the shooting of a woman in his residence. The film was written and directed by David Mamet and stars Al Pacino as Phil Spector and Helen Mirren as Spector's lawyer Linda Kenney Baden. An opening title card specifically states that the film is not based on a true story, but was a drama inspired by actual persons.
