MON-50 with folded legs.

The MON-50 (Russian: МОН-50) is a Soviet anti-personnel mine. It is a copy of the M18 Claymore with some slight differences. It was first produced in 1965 and currently produced in Russia and Bulgaria. The filling is 700 grams of the explosive RDX and has a lethal radius of approximately 50 meters (164 feet). The shrapnel loaded in each mine is either 540 steel balls or 485 short steel rods, depending on the variant. Like the Claymore, it is primarily remote detonated, but can also be fitted with a tripwire detonator.
