Life was a television crime drama that aired in the US on NBC for two seasons from 2007 to 2009. Damian Lewis starred in the series as Charlie Crews, a former Los Angeles police officer who was imprisoned for twelve years for a murder he did not commit. Upon being released from prison and receiving a large monetary settlement from the city, Crews rejoins the force and uses his newfound resources to uncover those behind the conspiracy that framed him. The series' cast included Sarah Shahi, Adam Arkin, and Brent Sexton.
