Kirstie Alley
Kirstie Alley (1951-2022) was an American actress known for her role as the Vulcan Lt. Saavik in the 1982 feature film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. She also appeared on television in such series as Veronica's Closet and Scream Queens as well as the ABC miniseries North and South and North and South: Book II, in addition to her role as Rebecca Howe in the NBC sitcom Cheers, a role for which she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. She also starred in such feature films as Runaway, Shoot to Kill, and Summer School as well as two Look Who's Talking films. She passed away on December 5, 2022, following a brief fight with cancer at the age of 71.
