It takes place in Eastern Europe in 2074, 12 years after the start of the original game.

The following weapons appear in the video game Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium:

Overview

Weapons can be customized by the player with a variety of real and fictional accessories and furniture available. Many guns by default have the Zenitco RK-5 foregrip fitted to them. Every weapon has three variants: R / regular, with simplified details, SR / super rare, with details akin to the real deal, and SSR / ultra rare, which is a semi-fictionalized version of the weapon, featuring very stylized details. Every character has two different level up animations, which usually feature details not seen in normal gameplay, such as them reloading.

Pistols

CZ 75 SP-01

Faye (formerly known as CZ75 in GFL1) returns and once more uses the CZ 75 SP-01. Another thing to note is that it has the decocker from the Phantom but the appearance is the SP-01 itself with the grip and also the accessory rail. One is seen on Daiyan's "Dress - Narcissus" skin.

Orion Flare Gun

Dushevnaya uses an Orion Flare Gun for her "Book of Prophecy" ultimate skill. It's mainly seen in her shoulder holster.

She then strikes a chuunibyou pose...

Stechkin APS

Ksenia (formerly known as Stechkin in GFL1 but named Ksenia in Project Neural Cloud) returns and once more uses the Stechkin APS (which is called APS on the CN servers and "Stechkin" on Global). For her ultimate ability, "The Secret to Making Money", she uses a heavily stylized stocked Stechkin with elements of the M1911 and OTs-23 Drotik. Groza's "Dress - Sangria Succulent" costume also features the pistol in her thigh holster.

Taurus Curve

Newcomer T-Doll Colphne uses the Taurus Curve. It is named ".380 Curva" in-game.

The SR version of the Taurus Curve, with details now akin to the real version. It is called the ".380 Curva". The SSR version features a cyberpunk exterior and is called "Papa-Figo", which is the name of a character from Brazilian urban legends said to kidnap misbehaving children to eat their livers (the description states this as well).

"I'm a healer, but..." Colphne checks her magazine.
Ditto and then racking the slide.
She has a rather bizarre animation for her upgrade; Colphne fires off a shot, then presses the trigger to fire a second (which instead locks the slide back), she then drops the magazine (without pinching the release) with rounds still in it, loads another (which causes the slide to drop forward), then racks the slide again...
...then fires a shot again.

Heckler & Koch MP5

Peri (formerly known as MP5 in GFL1) returns and once more uses the Heckler & Koch MP5. This MP5 is a hybrid of the MP5A3 / MP5A5 trigger groups, with the selector from the MP5A3 and the grip from the MP5A5 although the picture icons from the fire selector is not shown as it's blank in-game. The 2D art features her MP5 as having the "tropical" wide handguard while the 3D model has a Brügger & Thomet BT-21358 MP5 Tri-Rail Handguard and a KE Arms MP5 Extended Cocking Handle. As with many other weapons in-game, there is a Zenitco RK-5 foregrip attached.

Heckler & Koch UMP9

Lenna (also named Reina and formerly known as UMP9 in GFL1) returns and once more uses the Heckler & Koch UMP9. She was first shown with the SMG in the 2022 trailer (which appears to have been a homage to the intro of Ghost in the Shell).

KRISS Vector

Vector returns from GFL1 and once more uses the KRISS Vector. It is a hybrid of Gen I / Gen II with all the features on the Vector however in-game shows the missing bridge below the trigger guard though the pistol grip is slightly extended.

KRISS USA Vector Gen I, later model with different safety - .45 ACP
KRISS USA Vector Gen II - .45 ACP / 9x19mm Parabellum. Note the new pistol grip, magwell, trigger and 45-degree safety. The Gen II also eliminates the opening above the barrel for the original weapon's optional Surefire weaponlight, since these are no longer manufactured.

Shpagin PPSh-41

Papasha (formerly known as PPSh-41 in GFL1) returns and once more uses the Shpagin PPSh-41. It is named "PPSh-41" in-game.

Shpagin PPSh-41 - 7.62x25mm Tokarev. Late type. Drum magazine.
The blursed SR PPSh-41, with an inexplicable Rk-5 foregrip (with a picatinny rail to boot) and a strange pistol gripped stock that was either intended to be for shared SMG animations or that the factory worker who made this drank too much Vodka before their shift.

Suomi KP/-31

Added during the "Sojourners of the Glass Island" event, Suomi returns from GFL1 and once more uses the Suomi KP/-31. It is named "Suomi" in-game.

Suomi KP/-31 - 9x19mm Parabellum
The SR variant of the KP/-31, with a Zenitco RK-5 foregrip attatched to it by default for who knows why or how (unlike the aforementioned PPsh-41, it doesn't even have a Picatinny rail) . In addition, the in game model of the KP/-31 also has a korsu type pistol grip with a stock (as with the PPsh-41 mentioned above), likely so that all SMG using T-dolls can share animations with one another.

LWRC SMG-45

The LWRC SMG-45, specifically the 2016 prototype, is available as a universal cosmetic for any SMG, and can be obtained in the "Sojourners of the Glass Island" event's shop. It is named "Steel Shadow" in-game.

Hawk Type 97-1 - 12 gauge

Vepr-12

Newcomer T-Doll Vepley uses a Vepr-12. For unknown reasons, the low-detailed R version of the Vepr-12 uses a 5 round mag, while the SR version uses an 8 round mag. It is named "Vepr-12" in-game.

QBZ-192

Qiongju (formerly known as QBZ-191 in GFL1) returns and now uses the short barreled variant of the her QBZ-191, the QBZ-192 carbine. The carbine is incorrectly referred to by the name of its longer sister, the QBZ-191. The SSR variant is modeled after the QBU-191 DMR, albeit heavily stylized.

The SR rarity version, which is simply (albeit incorrectly) called "QBZ-191", features much more flushed out details more akin to the real deal, including ribbed magazine. The SSR version called "Golden Melody" changes the rifle into a stylized QBU-191. Also note the rear sight is folded, and is always folded regardless of any optics being fitted.
Qiongju chambers her QBZ-192 in the OP. The bullet is correctly shown being pushed flatly upward from the magazine and then pushed on a slight angle into the chamber.

Quiongju with her rifle in her menu spash screen. Note the bayonet she has in her thigh sheath (that she uses during cutscenes and gameplay) is based on the QBZ-95's QNL95 bayonet, a Chinese copy of the American M9 bayonet. Said bayonet model has been heavily simplified and mirrored compared to the real QNL95. Why she doesn't use the QBZ-191's QNL191 bayonet is unknown.
In the character interaction screen, Qiongju removes the magazine (without using the release)...
...then inspects the magazine, which is precariously loaded, similarly to the FN Five-seveN in Black Ops II.

Machine Guns

Galil Sniper Rifle

Littara (formerly known as WKp in GFL1), in a dramatic change from the prequel (she used the Kampfpistole in the original, making her the first T-Doll to ever switch signature weapons), uses a Galil Sniper Rifle fitted with a fictionalized version of the various AR-magazine adaptors (and lacks a magazine release) which is loaded with an X Products X-25 Drum Magazine. The weapon is incorrectly referred to as the "Model ARM", fires full auto and is classified as a Machine Gun.

KSVK

Added during the "Halting Station" event (駐足之地), Dushevnaya (formerly known as KSVK in GFL1 but named Dushevnaya in Project Neural Cloud) returns and once more uses the KSVK, which returns under its real name. The stylized SSR variant of the rifle is called "Eulogistic Verse" and has aspects of the ASVK.

M1903A4 Springfield

Springfield returns from GFL1 (and the first T-Doll to not have a changed name),once more using the non-scoped M1903A4 Springfield, although the player can attach one.

M1903A4 Springfield sniper variant (Remington markings) without scope and with "scant" variation of C-type pistol-grip stock - .30-06

Mosin Nagant

Mosin-Nagant returns from GFL1 and once more uses the scoped Mosin Nagant Rifle. They are also seen in the hands of Paradeus cultists. A grey version of the ProMag Archangel OPFOR stock with 10-round magazine is available as a customzation option which is named "Samosek". It is named "Three-Line Rifle M1891" in-game.

Walther WA 2000

Added during the "Rhapsody Quartet" event, Makiatto (formerly known as WA2000 in GFL1) returns and once more uses the first variant of the Walther WA 2000. For unknown reasons, you can attach a second bipod to the WA 2000 despite the WA 2000's folding bipod being part of the model for all 3 versions of the gun. It is named "W 2000" in-game.

Launchers

LMT L2G

One of the weapons Groza uses when activating her ultimate ability, "Explosive Bombardment", is a LMT L2G without stock. While it would have made more sense for her to use the GP-25 or GP-30 grenade launcher (which fit onto the barrels of the OTs-14 series), the decision to make it separate was likely to allow full customization of her weapon. Instead of the factory reversed LMT Tactical Front Sight, her grenade launcher is fitted with a reversed Magpul MBUS-style front flip-sight instead the leaf sight.

Beretta 92FS

The "Combat Gear" skins for Groza, Krolik, Nemesis and Colphne have Beretta 92FS pistols holstered. Nemesis uses one in a cutscene in Chapter 2. The T-Doll associated with the pistol has yet to make an appearance.

Glock 19

The commandant uses a Gen 3 Glock 19 as their personal sidearm. It strangely changes to a very detailed Gen 3 Glock 17 during a cutscene in Chapter 3. Kalina is also seen using the 5th Gen Glock 19 in the 2022 trailer. Also in the 2022 trailer, Magni Security Service contractors can be seen with the 4th Gen Glock 19 fitted with Trijicon RMR sights in their holsters.

As mentioned above, the commander's Glock 19 changes to a Glock 17 during a cutscene in Chapter 3. It strangely changes back to a Glock 19 after they enter the room. The T-Doll associated with the pistol has yet to be announced. Makiatto has Gen 1 Glock 17 with the side grip style of the Gen 3 Glock 17 in her holster.

Heckler & Koch P7

In Chapter 3, Darren Claude uses a Heckler & Koch P7, which is subsequently taken and used by Colphne to threaten him after the fight with his robots. The minaturized version of the pistol used by Colphne is also seen in the hands of the dealer in Peri's trailer. The T-Doll associated with the pistol has yet to be announced. A stylized P7 is used by Magni Security Services affiliated 3rd generation T-doll Blue Snowball in the Aphelion event.

Slide recoiling. For some reason his hand is partially invisible.
A shocked Darren after Helena blocks his bullet (which causes it to nicely flower).
Colphe messes with Darren after he is defeated. Note the P7 has been significantly scaled down to fit in her tiny hands.

Makarov PM

A mirrored Makarov PM appears in the hands of Varjager Felagi-Defensiv and Varjager Felagi-Medisin units. The T-Doll associated with the pistol has yet to be announced.

Heckler & Koch UMP45

Leva (better known as UMP45 in the original) is seen with her signature Heckler & Koch UMP45. She is currently set to be a playable character in a future update.

AK-12

Magni Security Services PMCs use the AK-12 during the Aphelion event, replacing the Model 653 rifles they had in the 2022 trailer. The T-Doll associated with the rifle has yet to be announced.

AK-47

URNC (Union of Rossartrist Nations Coalition) Interstate Train Survey Force soldiers lead by Dmitry are strangely seen using the antiquated Type II AK-47 during the Aphelion event.

AN-94

In the prologue sequence with elements similar to the prologue of Call of Duty: Ghosts, Neo-Soviet KCCO Infantry Automatons are armed with AN-94. The T-Doll associated with the rifle has yet to be announced.

Colt Model 653

Mangi Security Service contractors in the 2022 trailer are seen with customized rifles most closely resembling the Colt Model 653. They are all fitted with railed uppers, 12.5" Daniel Defense RIS II handguards, L3Harris AN/PEQ-15 laser, what is likely a SureFire M600-series light, KAC QDSS NT4 suppressor, EOTech 512.A65 holographic sight with a stylized Aimpoint 3XMag magnifier and what appears to be a Troy Industries Modular Combat Grip. These don't appear in the game proper.

Magni PMCs ambush the T-Dolls in one of the Purification Zone areas. Note they are firing on an angle to account for their gas masks obstructing a proper cheek wield (in addition to using IR lasers).
A PMC loads his Colt 933.
More PMCs open fire with more conventional aim due to the flashbang frying their nods.

QLU-11

The Aegis Skyfire units appear to be armed with hybrid launchers inspired mainly by the QLU-11, but with the top folding ladder sight of the LG4C.

RPG-7

The RPG-7 is seen being used by Varjagers, Klukai and URNC forces.
