Dalgliesh is a British detective TV series based on the novels by P.D. James about Detective Chief Inspector Adam Dalgliesh, a detective and a poet who investigates complex crimes in mid-1970s Britain, starring Bertie Carvel. Three novels were adapted for Season 1: "Shroud for a Nightingale", "The Black Tower", and "A Taste for Death", each in two parts.

Season 1 was broadcasted in November 2021, and Season 2 is sheduled to 2022-2023.

Luger P08

Julius Marsh (Jonjo O'Neill) holds a Luger P08 in the climactic scene in "The Black Tower - Part Two" (S01E04). As the jointed arm doesn't move when the muzzle flame appears, the screen gun turns out to be a non-firing replica, very possibly a Denix P08/1143, and the muzzle flame is a CGI.
