Brittany Murphy was an American actress who was notable for choosing edgy and nontraditional roles in such films as Don't Say a Word and Sin City. Though she appeared in many films that had firearms, she rarely wielded them herself. She died in December 2009, little more than a month after her 32nd birthday.
