Screen capturing Tips
There have been 2 ways I've found to grab screenshots:
Using VLC Player
1. Use VLC media player for my media files and hit the advance features which has a specific button to cap the images.
2. I set the capture to grab the files as PNG's (the quality is inferior if I grab them here as JPG's). Make sure that the aspect ratio is set to 16:9, and then you can also adjust the saturation and sharpness using the video effects tools.
3. I then use a program called Fast Stone Image Viewer to convert the PNG's to JPG's. and to trim the black bars if necessary before upload.

Fast Stone Image Viewer also has a screen capture function where you can grab anything on your monitor screen. You can use this to grab your screenshots from any media player that you can use.
