The Zastava M70 was produced in the following variants:
- M70 - First model
- M70B1 – with grenade launcher sights and solid stock
- M70B1N – with grenade launcher sights and solid stock and mount for night, or optical sights.
- M70AB2 – with grenade launcher sights and underfolding stock
- M70AB2N – with grenade launcher sights and underfolding stock and mount for night, or optical sights.
