Yakuza 2

Yakuza 2 (龍が如く２ Ryuu ga Gotoku 2 lit. "Like a Dragon 2") is a brawler-based action RPG for the PlayStation 2, developed and published by SEGA. It is the sequel to the first Yakuza game, coming out in December 2006 in Japan and September 2008 worldwide. An HD remaster of the first two games was also released in Japan on the PlayStation 3 in 2012 and on Wii U in 2013. An HD remake of the game, Yakuza Kiwami 2, was released in 2017 in Japan and worldwide a year later on PS4, with a PC version following in early 2019. A year after going straight to look after Haruka, former Tojo Clan chairman Kazuma Kiryu is once again drawn into the yakuza underworld as an east-west war between the Tojo Clan and Osaka's Omi Alliance looms. Also, a Korean mafia group called the Jingweon has vowed to take revenge on Tokyo's red-light district Kamurocho for a massacre of their men that took place there 26 years before, threatening the safety of its residents. Unlike the original Yakuza game, there was no English dub for the western release. They did however have to re-record the Korean dialogue in this game for the Korean market as the original was deemed to be very poor.

Handguns
Luger LP08 "Artillery"
Kiryu's father figure Shintaro Fuma is seen once again with his Luger LP08 "Artillery" pistol in a flashback to the Jingweon massacre of 1980.
Makarov PM
Is a Yakuza game without a Makarov PM-type pistol really a Yakuza game at all? In the first two games, the PM took a back seat to the Norinco Type 54 as the gangster's weapon of choice, but it can be purchased from the Beam weapon store dealer as the "9mm Semi-Automatic." A version called the "Modified Model Gun" is also given to Kiryu by its creator after he challenges Kiryu to a fight. Unlike the more generic-looking Makarovs that appear in later Yakuza games, this model is much more faithful to the original military Makarov PM.
Nambu Model 60
Another fixture of the Yakuza series, the Nambu Model 60 is used by police officers in Yakuza 2. This includes detectives Makoto Date and Jiro Kawara, as well as Kiryu's love interest, Osaka detective Kaoru Sayama. It is modelled symmetrically, with the cylinder release on both sides.
Norinco Type 54
The Norinco Type 54, a Chinese clone of the Tokarev TT-33, is - as mentioned previously - the weapon of choice for denizens of the Kamurocho underworld in the first two Yakuza games.
Walther PPK
Antagonist Wataru Kurahashi uses this pistol in one scene.
Shotguns
Remington Model 31
Returning from the first Yakuza game is the rather hilariously oversized pump-action shotgun based on the Remington Model 31. As before, it can be purchased from the Beam weapon store as the "Shotgun." Its huge magazine tube also gives it an overinflated capacity of 15 rounds. Even more hilariously, it is actually used as a sniper rifle in one scene.

Browning M2HB
The Browning M2HB machine gun is used in a brief first-person shooting segment during the raid on Osaka Castle.
Other
Tanegashima
Tanegashima matchlock arquebus weapons are found in the raid on Osaka Castle.
Glock 26/36
This gun is seen in a flashback to the original Yakuza game, where Nishiki blows up the 10 billion yen.
Beam weapon shop guns
The secret weapon shop in the back of the Beam video store returns from Yakuza. It contains the same decorative weapons as before: the two pistols are a Smith & Wesson 645 with a long slide and rail-mounted sight and a Colt Python with a 4" barrel. There are also three Sturmgewehr 44, Heckler & Koch G3, and M16A1 rifles.
