The Wolf Among Us (2013)

The Wolf Among Us is Telltale Games' adaptation of the Fables comic series. Set as a prequel to the comics, it stars sheriff Bigby Wolf and has him investigate a series of murders in Fabletown, a neighborhood in New York City populated by former fairy tale characters.

Pistols

Walther P99

During Episode 1, Bigby finds this anachronistic Walther P99 in Prince Lawrence's apartment; since the game takes place in 1986, it would be a decade until such a model was available. It is later used by the prince when an intruder enters the apartment.

Revolvers

Smith & Wesson Model 29

At the end of Episode 3, Bloody Mary employs a nickel-plated Smith & Wesson Model 29 with a 8 3/8 inch barrel, custom engraving filigree along both sides and both ends of the barrel, and ivory grips. She places a single .44 Special bullet with a unique silver hollow-point soft head into one of the six chambers and uses it to near-fatally wound Bigby with a single shot. Funnily enough, It seems to be the only sidearm the gang has, as the Jersey Devil, Tweedledee, and the Crooked Man use the exact same weapon one after the other in Episode 5.

Smith & Wesson Model 29 New Production with nickel finish - .44 Magnum

Mary swinging the Smith & Wesson Model 29's cylinder open. The characteristic extractor rod shroud and flattened hammer bevel is clear for all to see. Immediately after inserting the single round she spins the cylinder and shuts it closed into the frame by flicking her wrist. Stylish, but very poor revolver etiquette, then again, a near-immortal with super strength wouldn't care that much for firearm protocol.

"That was a good show, but, it just didn't know when to end." Mary either somehow knew which chamber the silver bullet was in despite spinning the cylinder earlier. Or she might have dry fired at Bigby's back off-screen...

"This is just a precaution." The Crooked Man displays poor trigger discipline with the now fully loaded Model 29. Not surprising when you consider who he's trapped in that room with.

Shotguns

Remington 870

In Episode 3, the Tweedle brothers use shortened Remington 870s with wooden TacStar rear pistol grips when they show up at the funeral, and later in the alley outside the Pudding & Pie. The shotguns also have the bottom of their trigger guards cutaway so the Tweedle brothers can fit their abnormally large trigger fingers in.
