Wild Target is a 2010 British film, that is a remake of the 1993 French film "Cible Emouvante". Bill Nighy plays a world weary assassin, Victor Maynard, who has second thoughts when he is sent to kill a con artist, Rose (Emily Blunt) and ends by enamored by her free spirit and eccentric ways. He tries to protect her from other hired guns who have been sent to kill her, after he fails to do so. Meanwhile Victor, not having an heir and coming from a long line of assassins, tries to train an inept protege, Tony (Rupert Grint) (famous as Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter films), and prepare him for the world of hired killers.
