Wayward Pines is the 2015 television adaptation of the book series written by Blake Crouch. Matt Dillon stars as Ethan Burke, a US Secret Service Agent investigating the disappearance of two fellow agents who awakens after a car accident in a small town from which he cannot leave. Wayward Pines was executive produced by M. Night Shyamalan, who also directed the pilot episode. The series premiered on FOX in May of 2015 and aired for two seasons until 2016.
