The [[Glock 17]] appears in the game as the "Fast-Action Handgun". Its magazine capacity is incorrect at 12 rounds. Its range is much shorter than the S&W Model 66 or M1911A1. When the Silenced Weapons relic is activated, Daryl begins the game with a suppressed Glock in his inventory. The first one is sometimes found in an out-of-the-way area of Cleburne Memorial Hospital, while they're plentiful in the final level. Daryl uses one at the end of the game's first level, but he does not have it once the player takes control.

It fires full-auto only, but single shots can be made by quickly tapping and releasing the trigger button. It is fitted with a standard handguard, LMT detachable A2 rear sight, and an Aimpoint CompM2 red dot sight. Unlike most games, the red dot is correctly co-witnessed and sits just above the carbine's front sight. It is found only in Firesign Stadium (which resembles the real life Bobby Dodd Stadium) in Atlanta, the game's final level. A relic, if activated, puts the M4 in Daryl's inventory at the start of the game.

It was being used by a member of the Savage Sons MC that Merle belonged to, but he had transformed into a walker while Daryl was unconscious and must be killed before the weapon can be acquired and used. Fired bolts can be retrieved and reused as long as the player can locate them after firing, and provides a near limitless source of ammunition. A relic, if activated, puts the crossbow in Daryl's inventory at the start of the game.

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct (2013)

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is a single-player first-person shooter video game set in the universe of the AMC Walking Dead television series and was developed by Terminal Reality and published by Activision. Released in 2013 for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U, the game is set in the Georgia countryside and focuses on Daryl and Merle Dixon as they make their way to Atlanta during the early days of the zombie apocalypse.

The following weapons are featured in the video game The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct:

SPOILERS.jpg WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!

Handguns

Smith & Wesson Model 66

The Smith & Wesson Model 66 appears in the game as the "Revolver". It's capacity is 6 rounds. Jess Collins, Daryl's uncle, prominently uses one at the end of the opening level. It is first found on a desk in the police station in Sedalia, Georgia, the third level of the game.

Colt M1911A1

The Colt M1911A1 appears in the game as the "Hi-Power Handgun," the developers having apparently confused it with its younger cousin, the Browning Hi-Power. It is the second pistol found through the course of the game. Its magazine capacity is a correct 7 rounds. The first M1911A1 is found on the roof of a car park in Fontana.

Pre-War Colt M1911A1 Pistol - Commercial Model known as the "Colt Government Model" - .45 ACP. This has a deep Colt factory blued finish, common for commercial variants before and after the war.

Glock 19

The Glock 19 appears in the game as the "Fast-Action Handgun". Its magazine capacity is incorrect at 12 rounds. Its range is much shorter than the S&W Model 66 or M1911A1. When the Silenced Weapons relic is activated, Daryl begins the game with a suppressed Glock in his inventory. The first one is found in either the Cleburne Memorial Hospital or Taggart drive-in theater, while they're plentiful in the final level. Daryl uses one at the end of the game's first level, but he does not have it once the player takes control.

Shotguns

12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun

A 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun appears in the game as the "Double Barrel Shotgun". One is acquired from a Park Ranger if the player opts to go to Smokey Mountain Campgrounds in Garwater. It has the shortest range and lowest capacity (only 2 shells) of all the shotguns in the game, but the largest pellet spread.

Mossberg 500

The Mossberg 500 appears in the game as the "Pump Action Shotgun". One can be found early on in the motel if the player opts to go to Pemberton instead of Garwater. It holds 8 shells, the most out of all the shotguns in the game, and is midway in terms of range and pellet spread.

Mossberg 930 SPX

The Mossberg 930 SPX with extended magazine tube and M4-style folding stock appears in the game as the "Semi-Automatic Shotgun". It is first found inside the gas station in Lemon Hill. It incorrectly holds 6 shells and has the longest range of all the shotguns, but the smallest pellet spread. Its superior ghost ring rifle sights give it increased accuracy.

Rifles

Remington Model 700

The Remington Model 700 appears in the game as the "Bolt Action Rifle". It is the first firearm encountered in the game as it is used by Buck as well as Will Dixon while hunting at the beginning of the game and another one is found in a shed behind Jess' cabin after the player takes control of Daryl. If the Silenced Weapons relic is activated, a suppressed Remington 700 will be in Daryl's inventory at the start of the game. The rifle's internal magazine can seemingly hold as many rounds as Daryl can carry for it (even though the real weapon is limited to 6), as the only loading animation is when Daryl works the bolt after firing.

"Semi-Auto Rifle"

This semi-automatic rifle is a Frankenstein-level mixture of parts from various rifles including the M1 Carbine, SVT-40, Gewehr 43, Norinco Type 63, and M14. Its capacity is 10 rounds. Its sights are misaligned, which can make aiming at longer ranges difficult.

M4A1 Carbine

The M4A1 carbine appears in the game as the "Assault Rifle". It's magazine capacity is a correct 30 rounds. It fires full-auto only, but single shots can be made by quickly tapping and releasing the trigger button. It is fitted with slimline handguards, LMT detachable A2 rear sight, and an Aimpoint CompM2 red dot sight.

Other

Browning M2HB

The Browning M2HB appears in various points throughout the game on top of crudely modeled Humvees, but is only usable in Firesign Stadium. Merle refers to it as a "cannon", while the game itself calls it a "turret". It has unlimited ammo, but is incredibly underpowered (possibly for balancing purposes) compared to its real world counterpart and still requires headshots to kill walkers.

Horton Scout HD 125 Crossbow

Daryl's trademark crossbow, found in Jake's Bar in Barksdale. It was being used by a member of the Savage Sons MC that Merle belonged to, but he had transformed into a walker while Daryl was unconscious and must be killed before the weapon can be acquired and used. Fired bolts can be retrieved and reused as long as the player can locate them after firing, providing a near limitless source of ammunition. M67 hand grenade

The M67 hand grenade appears in the game as the "Grenade". Good for taking out groups of walkers, if one can time the detonation right. Otherwise, its only real use is as a really loud and lethal distraction.
