V: The Series (1984-1985)

V: The Series is the 1984 television series that continues the battle between the Visitors and the Resistance first told in V and V: The Final Battle. The series ran for one season on NBC and would later be released on DVD as V: The Complete Series.

Handguns

M1911A1

The M1911A1 is the main handgun used by Mike Donovan (Marc Singer).

Pre-War Colt M1911A1 Pistol Commercial - .45 ACP

Heckler & Koch P9S

A Heckler & Koch P9S is the handgun used by Juliet Parish (Faye Grant) in the series.

Rifles

M16A1

As in the miniseries, the Resistance including Juliet Parish (Faye Grant) are seen with M16A1 rifles.

M16A1 with 20 round magazine - 5.56x45mm. What distinguishes it from the original M16 was the addition of a raised rib around the magazine release button, changing of the forward Receiver pins, and the addition of the forward assist button on the upper receiver.

MGC Replica rifles

When not seen firing, many members are seen carrying MGC Replica versions of the M16.

The MGC M16 Assault rifle: a non firing metal replica built by the Model Gun Corp of Japan and one of the most used non firing replicas of the M16 in movies and television


Submachine Guns

The MAC-10 is once again the main weapon of Ham Tyler (Michael Ironside). It's also used by Kyle Bates (Jeff Yagher).

Uzi

Mike Donovan is seen using a full size Uzi in several episodes, notably in "The Dissident" (Ep.08) when he and Ham Tyler infiltrate a Visitor mothership to rescue a Visitor scientist, as well as in "The Conversion" (Ep.10).

Other

M72 LAW

Ham Tyler (Michael Ironside) is seen using an M72 LAW to take out a Visitor convoy in "The Conversion". In the series finale "The Return" (Ep.18), Visitors disguised as humans use the LAW in an assassination attempt.
