GiTS SAC 2nd GIG Weapons

Good work on the Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig page so far, though I have one question. Near the end when the refugees are in a standoff with the military, I recall one of the refugees being armed with a sniper rifle of some sort, I think maybe an SVD Dragunov. He ends up firing it and scoring a fatal hit on one of the soldiers, provoking the military to attack. Can you shed any light on this? Orca1 9904 21:14, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

It's an AK with a scope and lengthened barrel, or a VEPR hunting rifle (one of those things based on the RPK) or similar - definitely not a Dragunov. However they did have PZF3s in that scene. I'll add both. As I mentioned on the GitS page that existed when I found the site, I'm 5500 miles from my DVDs so I can't really screenshot without using fansubs, which I understand is frowned on round here.
On another note, any idea how I can change the page title? I prefixed the article with a note on correct spelling without actually doing it myself, to my lasting embarrassment.YourMessageHere 10:22, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

I don't think the page belongs here. You better look here: [1]. - Kenny99 02:19, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
