No Halo pages

Sorry, but only professional media is accepted on this site according to the Rules, Standards and Principles. Several attempts to make pages based on Halo properties have been rejected before due to the weapons entirely being fictional. --Ben41 12:25, 22 November 2011 (CST)

New page

Hey there. First, I should let you know that I'm not an admin or mod, so I can't officially make the call whether a page stays or not. But usually for a show to be qualified, it has to have recognizable guns in it, it has to be released, and it has to have a page on IMDb. (The full rules are here.) I can't seem to find an IMDb page for it, but it's clearly a real show, and I don't know how IMDb does foreign shows, so you might be able to argue for an exception. (Unfortunately, I can't actually read Chinese, so I can't read the Chinese wikipedia page.) Just keep in mind, everything has to be in English. If you need help, let me know. Good luck. --Funkychinaman 22:12, 22 November 2011 (CST)

Here is the list of all the admins. Evil Tim and Ben are on fairly often so you'll get a pretty quick answer. I'd definitely ask before making the page, if they said no, then you'll have wasted your time. And since this is your first page, have you thought about setting your sights a little lower, like a movie? Doing an entire foreign TV series is a bit ambitious for a first page. --Funkychinaman 12:07, 23 November 2011 (CST)
BTW, sign your name using the signature button. Right now, your signature links to the wrong page. --Funkychinaman 12:08, 23 November 2011 (CST)
You can also try bringing it up in the forum. --Funkychinaman 12:42, 24 November 2011 (CST)
Just go to one of the categories and click on "New Thread." I would suggest the IMFDB category, as it involves the wiki and rules. --Funkychinaman 10:19, 26 November 2011 (CST)

No fan-created media

The Rules, Standards and Principles state that the site doesn't accept non-professional fan-created media. Also, the media stated in the page must also generally have more than one authentic firearm in it, not an airsoft or other replica weapon (exceptions are made on a case by case basis). --Ben41 04:18, 23 November 2011 (CST)

Forum

I'm guessing you just haven't been approved on the forum yet. I heard the process can take a while. --Funkychinaman 11:03, 28 November 2011 (CST)

The approvals process for the forum basically doesn't work. Ask User:bunni (the site admin) if he can get you approved. Evil Tim 11:35, 28 November 2011 (CST)

RE:Proposal to create a page on Firearms used by Taiwan (ROC) Forces.

Let me get back to you on that, I want to check with the other Admins to see what the policy is on these pages. --commando552 (talk) 07:02, 2 October 2012 (EDT)
