I have a 4506-1 which I've been trying to sell. It's way too big and heavy for someone my size. It also performs very poorly with reloaded ammo. The 4566 might be a better size, though (I'm not sure because I've never held/fired one before). -MT2008 22:39, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

I've been asking $500 for it. However, in NC, we have to have purchase permits to buy/sell at FFLs, so until I get one, I can't ship out-of-state. Yep, I've sold some of them. I asked him if I could. He didn't care much because they were guns he didn't really like much himself, hence the reason he gave them for me. Have you ever heard the quote by Jeff Cooper?:

I think he summed up quite nicely how underpowered the .25 is there. Personally I can't stand any "Pocket Pistol" that can't fit more than three fingers on it. They are too damn small! And only built to last about a 1000 rounds.

I was playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2 today, and finally unlocked the Glock 18C. I was very curious to see how many bullets the "extended" magazine would hold, since I was pissed to find it only held 10+1 rounds in the first game and had no extended magazines. I was somewhat miffed to find the extended magazine was a 17-rounder. The actual Glock 18 has a 19-round standard magazine, and a 33-round extended. But, you can't expect much from video games. And a Barret M468 as the AR of the game? Come on, I wanted an M4A1! - Gunmaster45

If it's a 1911 part, it should fit your 1911, you'll just need to properly fit it by filing it down to exact size. Is the grip safety spur really so small that you get hammer bit often, or are you gripping a tad too high? Because as you can see on my profile my 1911 has an old spec M1911 grip safety spur before the A1's exteneded improvement, and I don't get slide bit. But then again, my hands are pretty average. ;). Personally I dislike beavertails because they make it hard to uncock the hammer with one hand and look kind of ugly (and snags on clothing). I'd rather just take an A1 spur anyday, since it does a good job of keeping your hand webbing out of the way. - Gunmaster45

No problem. If you don't want the beavertail to cut your hands, file down the sharp edges until they are round enough to your liking. If it is a blued beavertail, touch up the spots with instant bluing. If it's stainless, just polish the filed spots until right. - Gunmaster45

Unfortunately, you'd have to bead-blast all the original finish off, and then re-parkerize it. If you cannot re-parkerize it, you're better off bluing it. - Gunmaster45

The beretta 92 my dad has is yet to jam and is a decent pistol. The Ruger redhawk I fired which was a .41 magnum, I never noticed the trigger being bad but my point is that a revolver is best shot double action. If you learn to shoot double action you'll become a better shooter, If I wanted to shoot a revolver single action only I would get a vaquero. 9mm is fine for defense and has one of the largest numbers of people killed by this round. the XD is not a glock wannabe, its better than a glock and the only safety that it really has in my opinion is a grip safety unless you get a thumb safety model, I'm not to fond of a AD/ND a 4.5 lb trigger pull away. Feeling that a SIG will fly out of your hand is your own fault, I've shoot alot of SIGs and they are fine, it is a fine pistol. It seems like you don't like alot of guns that I have no problem with and am complelty comfortable with. beretta is proud of the Beretta 92 for a good reason, Its one of the most popular pistols in the world along with glock. Glock may feel like a airsoft gun to you and thats because of its frame being polymer. I'm not to fond of the feel but they are great guns along with the other polymer guns.
