Thanks for your contributions, but it appears that your screenshots you've uploaded for Fear the Walking Dead have the logo on them.  The preference is for screenshots for series to be clean of any logos and it is likely that your screenshots will be replaced.  If you don't want your work to be constantly replaced, it is recommended that you find sources that don't have the logos and are of preferably HD quality.  --Ben41 (talk) 18:21, 21 September 2015 (EDT)

The page for Quantico has been modified for future reference.  In the future, please try to find better sources for your screenshot images (preferably without the logo).  It appears that you are still taking fullscreen shots of your computer for your screenshots.  It is highly recommended that you use a different program.  Also, please don't copy other sources when writing summaries.  --Ben41 (talk) 21:58, 28 September 2015 (EDT)

Welcome to IMFDB

Before you do any editing please take the time to read the Rules, Standards and Principles. This is a very important document that explains how this website is setup as well as telling you what is and isn't allowed. If it is determined by an admin that you have not read these rules, your account will be suspended. Continued non-compliance may result in a permanent ban.

There are a number of pages that desperately need your help. You can find these Incomplete pages here.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them here but make sure to sign your post by typing --~~~~.

Finally, IMFDB has a forum set up here that is only available to registered members. There is lots of good stuff to see there. If you would like to join the forum, please post HERE and an account will be created for you.

Now, HAPPY EDITING! Zackmann08 IMFDB Chief of Operations (talk) 01:33, 29 September 2013 (EDT)

Evil Within page

Please make sure to follow proper formatting for page sections; descriptive text, then a stock image (usually set to 400px) with descriptive text left in (unless overly descriptive for that particular page), then screencaps (with descriptions if possible) set to 500px or 600px depending on whether or not it is in widescreen. Please see the Page Templates for technical info and the IMFDB Style Guide for how texts and links should be.--PistolJunkie (talk) 17:40, 6 November 2014 (EST)

Agent Carter

Thanks for adding screenshots for Agent Carter (TV Series). Because you are doing this, it is best to rename your files with the Season and Episode number in addition to the weapon name. For example, if you are uploading a screenshot for Season 1 Episode 2 of the series , you would name them "AgentCarterS1E02 xxx.jpg". You can either put numbers or weapon names in the x's. This will help you keep your screenshots organized. Please also refer to the IMFDB Screencapping Guide and the IMFDB Style Guide for more help on making pages. --Ben41 (talk) 19:20, 7 January 2015 (EST)

man from uncle 2015

When writing summaries, don't copy from other sources. --Ben41 (talk) 11:50, 13 February 2015 (EST)

Backstrom

Before uploading any more screenshots, you need to rename them with the title of the series first and then season number and episode number. Ex. Backstrom S1E02 Glock 17 indicates Backstrom Season 1 Episode 2. If you can, please try to find sources that do not have a station logo on the lower right. --Ben41 (talk) 19:30, 27 March 2015 (EDT)

Daredevil

Thanks for creating the Daredevil (2015) page. Please take a look at the first entry on the page for reference on adding entries with episode names and numbers. Also, in the captions, please don't copy and paste the same text in more than one screenshot. --Ben41 (talk) 14:54, 10 April 2015 (EDT)

In the future, please check your spelling and punctuation before finalizing your entries. --Ben41 (talk) 14:14, 11 April 2015 (EDT)

SIG-Sauer

For future reference, as stated on the SIG-Sauer page: In the past, some IMFDB users have mis-spelled "SIG-Sauer" as "Sig Sauer". "Sig Sauer" is not the correct spelling; "SIG" is an acronym for Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft ("Swiss Industrial Society" in German), and thus, all three letters should be capitalized. Also, it is preferred that IMFDB users put a hyphen between "SIG" and "Sauer". --Ben41 (talk) 14:06, 13 April 2015 (EDT)

You were already told once about using writing "Sig" instead of SIG. Please be careful in the future. --Ben41 (talk) 20:37, 20 April 2015 (EDT)

The Messengers

Please make actor pages for the actors you are highlighting in the television series. I have made a page for Shantel VanSanten as a template so you can make pages for the other actors you have highlighted on the Messengers page. Don't put the " " around an actor's name if the actor has not used a weapon. --Ben41 (talk) 19:02, 20 April 2015 (EDT)

Misspellings

In the future, rather than leaving an empty page sitting around, you can just use the move tool, and uncheck the option to leave a redirect. This will move the content, and delete the original page. Thanks. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:31, 21 April 2015 (EDT)

Suicide Squad

Until there is an actual trailer or film footage released, the page for Suicide Squad should not be created. Promo pictures don't necessarily mean that these weapons will actually be used in the film. --Ben41 (talk) 21:51, 3 May 2015 (EDT)

There's really no harm in waiting for an official trailer, teaser or BTS video. We're still over a year away from release, so there's plenty of time. --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:45, 11 May 2015 (EDT)
I've restored the page, but in the future, I would reconsider making a page when the film's release date is so far away and there's no official film footage available. --Ben41 (talk) 13:43, 11 May 2015 (EDT)

MI5

Do you have any episodes from other seasons of this series? Don't start dividing a series into separate seasons if you are not going to do more than one season. --Ben41 (talk) 20:49, 11 May 2015 (EDT)

As long as you don't stop with one season, then I'll leave it as is. --Ben41 (talk) 20:54, 11 May 2015 (EDT)

Deadpool

Please try to avoid uploading images that are clearly watermarked. --Ben41 (talk) 17:25, 2 July 2015 (EDT)

Okay. But I would advise that you wait until there are more official released images available before creating any more pages. --Ben41 (talk) 17:41, 2 July 2015 (EDT)

Screenshots

How are you grabbing your screenshots? The image dimensions are a little different than the typical ones. I would suggest using VLC player. --Ben41 (talk) 20:59, 4 July 2015 (EDT)

X-Files 2016

Appreciate you getting the groundwork going with starting the page and updating the other pages and template with links. I had intended to do it earlier but I got busy and of course the early bird gets the worm. ;) I did replace your screencaps as they weren't enhanced/sharpened and one seemed to be in an off aspect ratio. If you're going off streaming media, you'll probably be better off using Fast Stone Image Viewer to capture images; That program will also allow you to you to edit/enhance images (read more about it in the IMFDB Screencapping Guide). StanTheMan (talk) 23:22, 7 July 2015 (EDT)

No problem. One of the reasons I wanted sharper images was to help confirm that, and you can tell Scully/Anderson's Glock is shorter and slightly smaller, plus GA and DD previously had the small-big guns between them with the SIGs so her having the smaller G19 and Mulder/Duchovny having the G17 makes sense. Anyway, again, appreciate the help. StanTheMan (talk) 15:32, 8 July 2015 (EDT)
You and me both, sir! ;) StanTheMan (talk) 15:47, 8 July 2015 (EDT)

Fear the Walking Dead

Thanks for your contributions, but it appears that your screenshots you've uploaded for Fear the Walking Dead have the logo on them. The preference is for screenshots for series to be clean of any logos and it is likely that your screenshots will be replaced. If you don't want your work to be constantly replaced, it is recommended that you find sources that don't have the logos and are of preferably HD quality. --Ben41 (talk) 18:21, 21 September 2015 (EDT)
