Welcome to IMFDB

Before you do any editing please take the time to read the Rules, Standards and Principles. This is a very important document that explains how this website is setup as well as telling you what is and isn't allowed. If it is determined by an admin that you have not read these rules, your account will be suspended. Continued non-compliance may result in a permanent ban. After that you should also read the IMFDB Screencapping Guide and the IMFDB Style Guide to familiarize yourself with the image and formatting requirements for pages you create.

There are a number of pages that desperately need your help. You can find these Incomplete pages here.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them here but make sure to sign your post by typing --~~~~.

Finally, IMFDB has a forum set up here that is only available to registered members. There is lots of good stuff to see there. If you would like to join the forum, please post HERE and an account will be created for you.

Now, HAPPY EDITING! bunni (talk) 17:43, 31 August 2018 (EDT)

The cartoony art style. It's borderline, do you have any bigger screencaps? --Funkychinaman (talk) 20:33, 3 September 2018 (EDT)

From the Rules: "No "Cartoon" Weapons. Our animation sections primarily feature Japanese animation because such shows are more likely to depict realistic and identifiable firearms. Extremely low-detail weapons (for example Elmer Fudd's shotgun or Yosemite Sam's revolvers) do not belong on this site since they are simply generic representations of a type of gun, not a specific model. If a show's idea of a pistol is two rectangles with a poorly drawn trigger, the show does not qualify for inclusion." --Funkychinaman (talk) 20:35, 3 September 2018 (EDT)

Alright, I'll remember that. I really don't care if it gets deleted or not at this point.

Categorization of images

Sorry to bother you, I just want to remind of the need to categorize the images that you upload. Screenshots are to be marked with [[Category:Screenshot]], posters with [[Category:Poster and Cover Art]], or you can use templates {{SS}} and {{PCA}} respectively. With best wishes, --Greg-Z (talk) 00:57, 4 February 2022 (EST)

Sorry about that, I'll try to remember that next time I upload anything. --(Frost1620) 00:57, 4 February 2022 (EST)

Re: Question about adding a game

Sorry for the delay in responding, I had problems IRL. If your question is still relevant, then I have to answer no, mobile games are unacceptable, no matter how major a developer has released them. Alas, these are our rules. With best wishes, --Greg-Z (talk) 13:53, 10 February 2022 (EST)

Okay, no problem. I just wanted to make sure before I mistakenly added one. --Frost1620 (talk) 13:53, 10 February 2022 (EST)

Images

I've noticed that for Shogo: Mobile Armor Division, your images seem to come straight from the Steam store page and the GOG store page. I've noticed you have also used images from other wikis in the past. It is best if you get these screenshots on your own rather than using other images, especially if you don't have permission or at least credit a source.--AgentGumby (talk) 01:27, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

Ok I'll try to remember to cite where the pictures originate from next time I end up using existing images.--Frost1620 (talk) 01:27, 11 September 2022 (UTC)\
