Are you an expert on Muskets? Black powder long guns?

We are sorely in need of experts in these antique weapons. I don't know them all that well, and you may have caught some anachronistic weapons that were used in the background of some films. Personally I don't mind anachronistic long guns as long as they are deep in the background, but I would have drawn the line at percussion cap long guns since that would be too obvious. I hope you can help us with adding to the information base for 17th-19th century muskets and early rifles. MoviePropMaster2008 06:05, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

well i'm not the best expert but i do know my way around alot of blackpowder arms and can at least tell if it's a rifle or not. When it comes to civil war arms i can tell you year makes and models, but as for "kentuckey" long rifles i can usually tell if they actually using a rifle or usinga smooth bore in place of it
