What is up with IMFDB?

It is so slow loading that I just give up and do something else. Hope the servers aren't getting overloaded. We have quite a few shots or just junk that needs to be deleted (mostly duplicate pics or weird stuff that was uploaded and can never be deleted), but I don't know if that would help....

Usage of My original Gun Photographs

  • 95% of the gun images that I upload were photographed by me. They are either movie rental guns from my own company inventory or those of my fellow movie armorers. Some of the others are place holders until I can get an original image of the same weapon. I grant IMFDB.org copyright usage of my own images.

Were some guns used in a specific movie?

I don't mention that a particular gun was from a particular movie unless I'm pretty sure, since grabbing one out of a rack of dozens doesn't guarantee that the gun was actually used in any specific movie. Some of them are obvious and when an armorer specifically tells me (this gun was used in movie _ _ _ _) I take them at their word. :)

The Beauty of Screencaps

I've just got a new toy ... well new software... I can do screencaps of not only DVDs but (ugh!) VHS for those titles that are not available on DVD. Hurrah!
