To End All Wars (2001)

To End All Wars is a 2001 World War II film based on a true story and starring Robert Carlyle and Kiefer Sutherland as Allied P.O.W.'s who are forced by the Japanese Army to build the infamous Burma Railway while enduring harsh treatment at the hands of their captors.

Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I

Arisaka Type 38

The main weapon of Japanese soldiers and guards in the film is the Arisaka Type 38.

Type 26 Revolver

Sgt. Ito (Sakae Kimura), one of the guards, and Lt. Colonel Nagatomo (Shû Nakajima) use a Imperial Japanese Type 26 revolver as their sidearm rather then the standard issue Nambu Type 14.

Sgt. Ito's (Sakae Kimura) holstered Type 26 revolver hanging from his belt.

Lt. Colonel Nagatomo (Shû Nakajima) executes Lt. Colonel Stuart McLean (James Cosmo) with his Type 26 revolver.
