Tigerland (2000)

The following weapons were used in the film Tigerland:


M16A1 Rifle

All the US Army recruits including Roland Bozz (Colin Farrell), Jim Paxton (Matthew Davis), Miter (Clifton Collins, Jr.) and Wilson (Shea Whigham) can be seen using M16A1 rifles throughout the film. Wilson is notably seen loading a magazine of live ammo in his rifle at one point.

MGC Replica M16 rifle

The recruits are all seen carrying MGC M16 Replica rifles for scenes where the blank-firing M16 rifles were not necessary.

The MGC M16 Assault rifle: a non firing metal replica built by the Model Gun Corp of Japan and one of the most used non firing replicas of the M16 in movies and television.

M60 Machine Gun

During a training exercise, An M60 machine gun is seen firing live ammunition over the heads of the crawling recruits.

M1911A1

The M1911A1 is seen being fired on the range. Wilson (Shea Whigham) can be seen pointing his M1911A1 at Bozz while still having live rounds in it. SSG Cota (Cole Hauser) carries the M1911A1 and fires it several times in the air while training the recruits in Tigerland.
