After violence is unleashed in the opening sequence, the story settles on former L.A. drug dealer Casey Wells (Thomas Jane), now a Houston architect living with his attractive wife Christine (Paula Marshall). When past partner Nick (Aaron Eckhart) arrives out of the blue on a Thursday, asking for a place to stay for a few days, Casey invites him in but later gets curious about Nick's briefcase. After he opens it to find a huge helping of heroin, panic sets in, and he flushes it all away -- setting the stage for a variety of hoods and hitmen to turn up on Casey's suburban doorstep.

Smith & Wesson 4506

The Smith & Wesson 4506 is the pistol choice of psychotic ex-partner Billy Hill aka Hill Billy (James LeGros).

Billy thumbs back the hammer on his Smith & Wesson 4506 when the police officer walks in.

M1911A1 pistol series

The M1911A1 is used by several characters throughout the movie, including Casey's ex-partner Nick (Aaron Eckhart), who carries a 1911 Government with a screw-on suppressor and custom grips. Rasta hit-man Ice (Glenn Plummer) holds Casey hostage with a chrome-plated 1911 Government pistol. In the flashbacks concerning Casey Wells' (Thomas Jane) previous life, he's seen firing two chrome-plated and pearl-gripped 1911 Government series pistols akimbo. Casey also gets a hold of Ice's 1911, but he never uses it.

Desert Eagle

During the apartment drug deal, a chrome-plated Desert Eagle can be seen on the coffee table, which Casey Wells (Thomas Jane) picks up after the fire fight.

The police officer in the beginning carried an unidentified service sidearm in a hip holster.

IMI Uzi

Nick (Aaron Eckhart) uses a suppressed Micro Uzi in the apartment drug deal gone bad. A full sized IMI Uzi can also be seen used by a crooked cop at the end of the movie.

Nick mows down the drug dealers at the deal. Its unclear how he got this weapon, as he was frisked when he came in.

The only clear picture of the Uzi, a crooked cop mows down Casey's cow phone at 7:00.

MP5A3

Several crooked cops use these weapons at the film's end, but they could also be C&C'ed HK94's.

A Crooked cop stands with his Mp5A3 after mowing down Casey's cow phone. Note that the bolt is open, which after a long firing, could mean its empty, but a cop would be reloading.

Sawed-Off Remington 870

The Jamaicans also use these weapons at the film's end.

After the hotel room shootout, a pregnant woman busts into the room, Mossberg 500 Cruiser blazing. She is then gunned down by Nick and Casey.
