However this firearm would be illegal to own in Mexico, being chambered in .223 Remington - which is a military type caliber as all military calibers are banned in Mexico for civilian use. (Unless it were in 6.8SPC or .222 Rem which are two calibers offered by Ruger in Mexico.)
